# Rewards

As a Dor Validator Node Operator, you are eligible to earn rewards for supporting the Dor metagragh. 

Dor validator Node Operators are eligible for **two** types of rewards.

| **Consensus** | Continuous per consensus round | As your node actively participates in the Dor metagraph, it will earn rewards at the conclusion of each consensus round. These rewards are granted when your node successfully validates data in compliance with the network cluster requirements.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         |
|    **Tax**    |              Daily             | <p>During data processing and validation within the Dor Metagraph cluster, a network tax is applied and paid by the principals utilizing the metagraph’s services.</p><p>This tax is collected into a distribution wallet, which serves as a shared rewards pool. At the end of each day, a portion of the accumulated funds in the distribution wallet is distributed to all active validator nodes, based on their participation and contribution to the network during that period.</p> |
